We get your initial pitch. You may be introduced to us directly or indirectly! Either way, our partners will take a look at your venture and let you know what we think.
02INFORMATION COLLECTION
If necessary, we’d like to hear more about your venture, one of our partners who is most passionate about what you’re doing will get in touch to learn more. It will be a friendly conversation but do expect to be challenged on some things.
03MOVING FORWARD (OR NOT)
The partner you meet may discuss your venture with the rest of the team at our investment meeting. Whether we are keen to move forward or not, you’ll hear back from the partner pretty quickly.
04REFINE PITCHDECK
This is when our version of due diligence starts, and you’ll start to work with our partners to refine your deck before presenting to the investors.
05PITCH TO INVESTORS
You’ll pitch to investors, who may already know about you from the partner in advance. You may pitch virtually or from our office.
06FUNDING
After the meeting, WeVenture partner may collate any other key questions into a single document. Once these and any other questions are answered, our partner may hold an investment committee meeting to review all of the above and reach a final decision.
